Our time here in San Diego is coming to an end. We will be leaving on Friday and heading back to Phoenix! The temps will be running over 110 and dropping as we enter next week. It has been wonderful to be here in Paradise with the temps in the low 70's.
Today was a busy day….we started out with meeting Mary Lou at Starbucks.
I love this picture of Mary Lou! She looks so cute and so southern Californian. I think he should wear this outfit to Starbucks everyday…it can be her signature! Before long people will be saying …there is that cute,strange lady who always is dressed in that cute little hat! Think of all the people who would talk to you!
After coffee,we met our friend Lou for lunch. We met in the Valley at Tio Leo's Mexican Food. None of us had been there for years but the food was still good. Lou has been having a great time traveling all over the world! He has only been retired for 3 years and he has passed us up and I do not think we will be catching up with him! It was fun to play catch up with him!
After lunch with Lou, we went to the Apple Store. Vicki picked up her new computer and she let them keep the 8 year old one! I had an appointment at the Genius Bar and they fixed my iPad. Now we are on the way home!
Now I must tell you what I am doing. I have decided to move the TV back in the den. Everyone seems to like the idea. The computers will be in the notch in the living room and the c ouch and love seat will make the living room into an actual conversation area. Wednesday the handyman will come and hang the dining room light, move the TV and put the dog kennel together. On Thursday the DAV will come and take out the extra furniture and on Friday we will be going back to Phoenix!
Now I need to go and check the updates on the dogs and go to bed
